Meet the Schweitzer’s, aka Itinerant Life.

Family of 2 humans (John and Sonya) and 2 dogs (Kira and Sidney) who love the RV life. We hail from Virginia Beach and are selling, purging and donating most of our material possessions to hit the road full time after 2 years of part time RVing!

We started off in a small Class A (Boomer – a Forest River 28DS FR3) and are now proud owners of a 2013 Tiffin Phaeton 36GH called Matilda. We tow a 2012 Jeep Wrangler (nameless right now!)  Please follow along as we head out on the road and make mistakes (because we will!) but more importantly, explore the US.

Who are we?

John: techie geek who works for a well-known online retailer in their cloud hosting division as a security engineer/developer. John was in the army before starting his tech career (don’t ask him what he did in the Army – if he tells you…. well you know). Star Wars geek, and gamer.

Sonya: born in Australia, and now dual citizen. Senior level marketer who has worked for prominent brands, and most recently a University. Transitioning to a remote senior marketing position. Beach girl at heart.

Sidney: Aussie Cattle Dog / Beagle rescue. 7 + years old

Kira: Carolina Dog or American Dingo rescue (we think). 4 + years old
